Complaints About This Site or Service

If you have a concern about this website or the referral service, such as how a call was handled or information on the site, write to us at:

Please include your name, a way to reach you, the date of your call and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 14 days.

Complaints About a Contractor's Work

Contractors are independent businesses, and we don't control or guarantee their work. If you have a dispute about work performed:

1. Contact the contractor directly first and try to resolve it with them.
2. Contact your insurance company if the work was part of a claim.
3. File a complaint with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB) if the contractor is licensed in Oregon. The CCB offers a dispute resolution process for residential construction work.
4. Contact the Oregon Department of Justice Consumer Protection for consumer complaints.

We also welcome hearing about contractor issues by mail. It helps us understand homeowner experiences, even though we can't resolve contract disputes ourselves.
